Last updated 8 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Avera collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Avera is a hillside retreat at Foot Hills, Hobli, next to Kanive Nandeeshwara Temple, Nandi Hills, Karnataka 562103.

What we collect

When you email or call us, we keep what you share: your name, phone number, email address, travel dates and requests such as allergies or a special occasion.

When you book a room online, the booking is made through Swiftbook, our booking service. Swiftbook collects your booking and payment details and handles them under its own privacy policy.

When you stay with us, we collect the identity documents that hotels in India are required by law to record at check-in.

If you sign up for our newsletter, we keep your email address.

Our website

Our website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or visitor analytics.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps short-lived technical records such as IP addresses and browser types. These are used only to keep the website running and secure.

If we add analytics or advertising tools later, we will update this policy first.

How we use it

We use your information to answer your questions, manage your reservation and look after you during your stay.

We send newsletters only if you have signed up for them.

We also keep records that the law requires, such as guest registers and tax invoices.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with the services that help us run Avera: our booking service, payment providers, email provider and website host.

We share information with government authorities when the law requires it.

We never sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

We keep reservation and stay records for as long as the law and our accounts require.

We keep your newsletter email address until you unsubscribe.

We delete other information once we no longer need it.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also withdraw your consent and raise a complaint with us.

To make any of these requests, email [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days.
